TNF: Bills/Lions

• Josh Allen recorded two rushing TDs and threw another from the one-yard line, once again stealing goal-line work from James Cook. Cook did eventually score late in the game.

• DJ Moore was barely involved in the Bills’ offence before exiting with a shoulder injury and being sent for X-rays. He is believed to have suffered an AC joint sprain and is considered day-to-day, with his availability for Week 3 currently uncertain.

• Detroit's lack of coverage made the receiving hierarchy alongside Dalton Kincaid difficult to determine after DJ Moore went down.

EARLY SUNDAY SLATE

• Denzel Boston is emerging as the WR1 in Cleveland.

• The Packers can stop the run, holding Breece Hall to just 29 rushing yards in Week 2.

• The Packers don’t have a dominant running game at the moment, with no clear lead option emerging through two weeks.

• Christian Watson dominated the Packers' targets for the second consecutive week.

• The Bengals held Texans running backs David Montgomery and Woody Marks to just 18 combined rushing yards, and haven’t allowed a rushing gain of more than 14 yards through two games.

• Colston Loveland had just three targets for one reception in Week 2. His lack of involvement is starting to become concerning for fantasy owners.

• Panthers receivers Tet McMillan and Jalen Coker combined for 19 targets and 167 receiving yards in Week 2, after combining for 17 targets and 213 yards the week before.

• Ja'Marr Chase bounced back from a quiet Week 1 with seven receptions from nine targets for 75 yards and two touchdowns.

• The Patriots' run game looked unlocked with TreVeyon Henderson making his season debut against the Steelers.

• Chris Olave backed up last week’s performance with six receptions from eight targets for 88 receiving yards and a touchdown. Tyler Shough also went 27/34 for 252 yards.

• Rashod Bateman and Mark Andrews emerged as the Ravens’ top targets in the absence of Zay Flowers, combining for 16 targets and 137 receiving yards.

• DK Metcalf continues his poor start to the season, catching just four passes from nine targets for 27 yards with several miscues. He caught four passes from 10 targets last week. Metcalf also has a league-high five deep targets through two weeks, but none have been completed.

• DeVonta Smith had 10 receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown from 13 targets for the Eagles, while Dontayvion Wicks backed up last week’s performance with five receptions from six targets for 74 yards.

• The Falcons are the first team in 18 years to go without running a red-zone play through the first two games of a season, according to QBgami.

LATE SUNDAY SLATE

• The Dolphins' offence doesn't appear to have a leading option in the receiving game through two weeks. Caleb Douglas had just one reception from two targets for eight yards after his 94-yard performance last week.

• Jaxon Smith-Njigba has continued to see plenty of the football with Drew Lock at quarterback. The Seahawks' passing game hasn't suffered in the absence of Sam Darnold, with Drew Lock comfortably feeding the Seattle receivers.

• Jacory Croskey-Merritt continues to lead the Commanders' backfield with roughly 70% of the carries, while Rachaad White has been much more effective with his smaller workload this week.

• Justin Herbert struggled to protect the football against the Raiders, fumbling six times with one lost and throwing two interceptions. Herbert struggled to be decisive with mostly unfamiliar receiving options in the absence of Njoku and a limited McConkey.

• With RJ Harvey sidelined, Jonah Coleman and JK Dobbins continued to split the Broncos' backfield evenly, although Coleman found the end zone.

• Jaylen Waddle was far more involved this week, catching eight passes from 10 targets for 138 yards.

• Parker Washington had more targets than Brian Thomas Jr for the second consecutive week.

• Bhayshul Tuten continues to lead the Jaguars' backfield, recording 13 carries for 65 yards and a touchdown compared to Chris Rodriguez Jr's six carries for 13 yards.

• Terry McLaurin and Stefon Diggs had a far more even target share this week, with McLaurin seeing eight targets and Diggs five after Diggs dominated the opportunities in Week 1.

• Tre Tucker emerged as the Raiders' leading receiving option this week, while Jack Bech and Jalen Nailor were barely involved compared to last week.

SNF: Chiefs/Colts

• Kenneth Walker III confirmed that he will be heavily involved in the Chiefs' offence, finding ways to keep himself busy against a strong Colts front.

MNF: Rams/Giants

• Check back for these notes after the game!

WORTH MONITORING

• Caleb Williams was carted off with a hamstring injury, with early reports suggesting it could be serious.

• Jayden Reed was carted off with a neck injury.

• Dallas Goedert did not return to the Eagles’ game against the Titans, while Saquon Barkley missed most of the first half after suffering a stinger. Barkley returned in the second half, but told reporters after the game that he would undergo an MRI.

• Jayden Daniels was carted off with a left elbow injury.

• David Njoku was ruled out of the Chargers’ game against the Raiders with a knee complaint.

• Ashton Jeanty limped off the field to have an ankle concern assessed. but returns late in the game.

• Mike Evans did not return after suffering a hip issue against the Dolphins, although the lopsided nature of the game makes it difficult to know whether he could have returned or was simply kept out with the 49ers comfortably ahead.

• Jadarian Price was ruled out of the Seahawks’ game against the Cardinals with a chest injury.

• Alec Pierce was ruled out against the Chiefs with a heel injury, with Ian Rapoport reporting that he is likely to be placed on IR while he recovers.

TRADES

If you're still holding De’Zhaun Stribling, the options emerging to replace him are Denzel Boston, who is looking like Cleveland's leading receiving option through two weeks, or Matthew Golden, who appears to have a key role for Green Bay.

Jayden Daniels dislocated his left elbow for the second time in less than a year, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. X-rays did not reveal a fracture, but SuperCoach owners should be preparing to trade him.

AJ Brown has been placed on injured reserve and will miss at least four games.

De’Zhaun Stribling is expected to miss around 10 weeks after undergoing surgery on his injured ankle.

Ladd McConkey (ribs) returned to practice as a limited participant on Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday. He is listed as questionable against the Raiders.

Nico Collins (hamstring) has been ruled out against the Bengals after missing practice on Thursday and Friday.

Zay Flowers (hamstring) has been ruled out against the Saints after initially being listed as doubtful.

Sam Darnold (glute) has been ruled out against the Cardinals, with Drew Lock set to start in his place.

Brock Bowers (knee) returned to practice on Friday but is listed as doubtful against the Chargers.

Malik Willis (toe) has continued to participate fully in practice and has no injury designation in Week 2.

Joe Burrow (back) returned to full practice on Friday and carries no injury designation into the game against the Texans.

Kyler Murray (concussion) has been ruled out against the Bears after failing to clear concussion protocol. Carson Wentz will start in his place.

Brian Thomas Jr. (shoulder) was limited during the week but carries no injury designation into the game against Denver.

RJ Harvey (hamstring) was limited on Thursday and Friday after missing Wednesday’s practice and is listed as questionable against the Jaguars.

Chig Okonkwo (hamstring) has been ruled out against the Cowboys after missing practice during the week.

Tua Tagovailoa (oblique) and Michael Penix Jr. (knee) are both expected to miss Week 2, leaving Cooper Rush likely to start against the Panthers.

D’Andre Swift (ankle/knee) and Kyle Monangai (hamstring) returned to full participation on Friday and carry no injury designation into the game against Minnesota.

Ja’Kobi Lane (wrist) has been placed on IR following surgery and will miss at least four games.

Chris Olave (hamstring) is listed as questionable against the Ravens after being added to the injury report on Thursday.

Alec Pierce (heel) was downgraded from a full participant on Wednesday to missing practice on Thursday.

Jalen Coker (ankle) returned to full participation on Friday after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday. He carries no injury designation into the game against Atlanta.

Puka Nacua (hip) did not participate in practice on Friday and is listed as questionable against the Giants. Sean McVay described the issue as groin soreness, with Nacua's availability still to be determined.

Michael Pittman Jr. (foot) has been ruled out against the Patriots after missing practice on Thursday and Friday.

Kaelon Black (groin) is listed as questionable against the Dolphins after sharing the 49ers' backfield with Christian McCaffrey in Week 1.

This article will be updated all the way through to Sunday, so continue checking back.

Brock Bowers was ruled out ahead of Week 1 after a meniscus trim on his knee, putting him out for up to two games, but potentially longer. If you have chosen to hold Bowers, fingers crossed he can get back sooner rather than later and your bench cover did enough that his absence won’t become a sore point.

TRENDS

Can I really call one game a trend? Maybe these are more “Watchlist” items for now.

NFL Kickoff: Seahawks/Patriots

• Jadarian Price shared the backfield with George Holani at the Seahawks, but Price was far more efficient, recording 52 yards from 10 carries.

• Sam Darnold is expected to miss up to a month after exiting against the Patriots with a glute injury. Positively, Drew Lock had no issue looking the way of Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

• Drake Maye threw three interceptions against a proactive Seahawks defence, and he’ll badly want to clean that up. His game wasn’t helped by Romeo Doubs, who dropped two very gettable passes after AJ Brown was forced out of the game.

Melbourne Game: Rams/49ers

• Christian McCaffrey and Kaelon Black operated in a genuine timeshare, with McCaffrey playing 55% of the offensive snaps to Black’s 45%.

• Mike Evans quickly became a get-out option for Brock Purdy, who regularly looked his way when the 49ers needed to move the chains.

• Kyren Williams played 64% of the Rams’ offensive snaps, but the rushing workload was almost evenly split with Blake Corum. Williams had 11 carries for 41 yards and a touchdown, while Corum recorded 54 yards from 10 carries.

EARLY SUNDAY SLATE

• Colston Loveland had only the two targets for the entire game. Don’t panic yet, but in a game where the Bears put up 59 points, it’s a disappointing outcome

• Zay Flowers is the clear WR1 in Baltimore, putting up 150 yards and a TD before exiting the game with a hamstring complaint.

• Ja’Marr Chase had only four targets for two receptions and 12 yards. Again, don’t panic, he’ll be fine.

• The Falcons’ offence looked subpar, with only five receivers involved for the entire game against the Steelers. Bijan Robinson still produced 83 rushing yards, 90 receiving yards and a touchdown.

• Bhayshul Tuten outcarried Chris Rodriguez, Jr. in the Jaguars’ backfield, but the snap count was fairly even.

• Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown powered the Detroit offence as expected. St. Brown saw 14 targets and scored twice, while Gibbs also found the end zone twice and finished with almost 200 scrimmage yards.

• Tyler Shough recovered from a slow start to force overtime against the Lions, with Chris Olave catching 10 of 13 targets for more than 180 yards.

• Devaughn Vele and Juwan Johnson were also heavily involved in the Saints’ offensive push, seeing nine and seven targets respectively and each finding the end zone.

• Browns’ rookies Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion combined for nine targets and 102 receiving yards.

• DJ Moore led the Bills with eight targets against the Texans, while Dalton Kincaid re-emerged as a trusted option for Josh Allen. Allen also once again stole goal-line work from James Cook, recording two rushing touchdowns to Cook’s zero.

LATE SUNDAY SLATE

• The Dolphins’ offence may not be perfect, but it won’t be as bad as predicted. Caleb Douglas emerged as an early favourite for Malik Willis, catching all five of his targets for 94 yards.

• Christian Watson looks in for a big season, with more than 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the first half against the Vikings, while Tucker Kraft picked up where he left off.

• The Packers’ offensive line struggled to protect the quarterback late in the game, leaving Jordan Love with little opportunity to push the ball downfield in the final quarter.

• Kyler Murray exited against the Packers with a concussion, but Carson Wentz taking over at quarterback didn’t affect Justin Jefferson’s production.

• Jack Bech and Jailen Nailor were well fed by new Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins in the absence of Brock Bowers, while Ashton Jeanty looks like he’ll put his modest rookie season behind him.

• Ladd McConkey looks set for a bounceback season in the new Mike McDaniel offence, while Omarion Hampton also impressed out of the backfield. Both will be dangerous when given space.

• Jeremiyah Love and Tyler Allgeier shared the Cardinals’ backfield and both produced, with Allgeier finishing with more rushing yards while Love found the end zone.

• Stefon Diggs saw the most targets against the Eagles, while Terry McLaurin was held without a reception from just two targets. That target distribution is worth watching.

• Dontayvion Wicks will settle in as the Eagles’ WR2 just fine, recording two receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, rookie Makai Lemon struggled to get going in his first outing, recording -5 receiving yards from three receptions.

SNF: Giants/Cowboys

• Jaxson Dart isn’t afraid to throw the football, with Malik Nabers and Isaiah Likely already looking like his 1A and 1B receiving options.

• Cam Skattebo and Devin Singletary split the workload in the Giants’ backfield, which is worth monitoring before putting too much faith in either.

• Dak Prescott still likes to air it out, with CeeDee Lamb leading the Cowboys in targets and finding the end zone. Javonte Williams also scored twice, but was inefficient with his opportunities.

MNF: Chiefs/Broncos

• Patrick Mahomes hasn't lost his willingness to use his legs following the ACL injury, running in the Chiefs' first touchdown of the season.

• Kenneth Walker looks set to be a centrepiece of this Chiefs offence, being fed the ball often on the ground and in the air to come away with two scores and over 150 scrimmage yards.

• Courtland Sutton and Jaylen Waddle were well covered by the Chiefs, with Bo Nix instead finding production through Pat Bryant and Evan Engram.

TRADES

The Patriots have placed AJ Brown on injured reserve due to the high ankle sprain suffered against the Seahawks, ruling him out for at least the next four games. The options around his price to replace him include Christian Watson (5 receptions/148 yds/2 TDs for 55 SuperCoach points), Nico Collins (7/75/1 for 35 SC), DJ Moore (5/100/1 for 37 SC) and Ladd McConkey (5/82/1 for 33 SC).

Popular rookie De'Zhaun Stribling is expected to miss at least a month after suffering an ankle injury against the Rams. At his price, there’s no urgency to trade him until we know how the other rookie receivers shape up.

Zay Flowers did not see the field again for the Ravens against the Colts after half-time owing to a hamstring injury. He has not been ruled out of Week 2 yet and is considered day-to-day.

Ladd McConkey is considered day-to-day with sore ribs after exiting against the Cardinals. Keep an eye on his practice participation this week, but don’t put him in trade plans just yet.

Beyond those, there’s nothing else that should force your hand this early in the season.

Here we go,

QUARTERBACKS

Jackson almost picks himself this season. He’s had a full preseason under his belt and enters the year with a new head coach. He’ll also have a new, highly rated offensive coordinator calling plays for him. He’s a proven dual-threat quarterback, and with receiving options like Flowers, Andrews and rookie Lane around him, he makes for a really strong and potentially undervalued starting pick.

The bench QBs are really hard to pick this season and I don’t love having a non-playing guy, so I might do a shuffle to get the cash to put Deshaun Watson there. But Mendoza can be used as a loop early and potentially see playing time later.

RUNNING BACKS

Robinson and Gibbs are both cornerstones of the Atlanta and Detroit offences, respectively. Omarion Hampton is in for a big season with new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel in charge of that side of the ball. The Chiefs are going to love having a guy like Walker as their backfield bell cow. He wasn’t the Super Bowl MVP last season for no reason.

If I decide to bring in a playing quarterback on my bench, Bijan Robinson is the one likely to make way, with James Cook under consideration.

MarShawn Lloyd will get meaningful reps for Green Bay with Josh Jacobs on the Commissioner’s Exempt List, and it’s expected he’ll lead that backfield until Jacobs’ situation is resolved. Jeremiyah Love wasn’t drafted as highly as he was to play second fiddle in the Arizona backfield.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Chase doesn’t need much explanation; he’s the top receiving options for his team, with a more than capable quarterback who favours moving the chains through the air. Chris Olave formed a pretty strong connection with Tyler Shough as the Saints season progressed, and looks like he’s in for a big season. AJ Brown will love having Drake Maye throwing him the ball as the new No. 1 in New England. Watson is poised to break out with Jordan Love likely to have a go at calling some plays from under centre, while Jefferson should return to the top of the receiver tree with a new and capable quarterback in Minnesota once again.

I can’t decide between DeVonta Smith or Jaylen Waddle, at the moment the spot belongs to Smith.

The wide receiver bench was one of the hardest for me to settle on. Concepcion has risen to the top of the depth chart in Cleveland. Carnell Tate, Makai Lemon and De’Zhaun Stribling are fighting it out for the last spot, and for now it’s Stribling’s.

TIGHT ENDS

Brock Bowers will be the X, Y, Z, Plan A, B, C, D in Las Vegas, with the Raiders’ offence set to rely on him heavily. Colston Loveland grew into one of the league's most productive tight ends last season and became one of Williams' favoured targets, a role that should continue this year.

I’m anticipating a key role for Isaiah Likely in New York, so he gets the bench spot.

KICKERS

At a position I’m not prepared to spend much money on, rookie Trey Smack is the Packers’ kicker and impressed with his ability to convert from range during the preseason. Drew Stevens is the only kicker on the Commanders’ roster and which makes him also too cheap to ignore.

DS/T

The Rams are too hard to ignore now they have Aaron Donald and Myles Garrett in the same lineup, but the Texans aren’t exactly easy to get around either with Will Anderson Jr., Danielle Hunter and Jadeveon Clowney. They could still make a late charge for the spot.

The Cowboys are absurdly cheap for a team that’s been a top fantasy defence in the past.

FLEX

Drake Maye led the NFL in completion percentage and yards per attempt, and finished second in the MVP race last season. His dual-threat ability, combined with a shiny new receiver room to throw to, gives Maye some insane value even at his hefty price of over $27m.

QUARTERBACKS

EXPENSIVE BUT RELIABLE - Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills) - $30.08m
He’s not $30m for no reason. Allen accounted for more total touchdowns than any other quarterback last season, producing from all facets. New coach, new offensive playcaller and new WR1 to play with. The Allen pick is a strong one, but can you make the money work spending that much?

THE MVP CHALLENGER - Drake Maye (New England Patriots) - $27.08m
The runner-up in the MVP race led the NFL in both yards per attempt and completion percentage last season. AJ Brown is his new WR1, and that should elevate Maye even further. His dual-threat ability is a massive bonus on top of everything he already offers through the air.

PREMIUM QUALITY FOR LESS - Lamar Jackson (Baltimore Ravens) - $21.88m
New coach, new playcaller. A bit like Josh Allen, but Jackson comes at a significant discount following an injury-affected 2025 season. He loves to run the ball, but also has a growing receiver room around him. The price is a gift.

BOOM/BUST - Joe Burrow (Cincinnati Bengals) - $22.32m
There’s way more boom than bust here, but the issue with Joe is that he hasn’t played a full season in quite some time. He has one of the strongest receiving duos in the league, and he loves to feed them the ball. The question mark is durability, but the payoff is huge if he can last a whole season.

THE INSIDE MAN - Jared Goff (Detroit Lions) - $23.16m
Goff loves to play in a dome, averaging 280 yards and two TDs per game when playing inside. The Lions play 12 games under a roof this season, giving Goff major upside.

THE RISING THREAT - Caleb Williams (Chicago Bears) - $24.35m
The stats don't necessarily reflect how good Williams was from a fantasy perspective last season, when he still finished as the eleventh-ranked quarterback. If he can improve on some of the major statistical markers this season, we could have a behemoth on our hands.

ALL IN - Matthew Stafford (Los Angeles Rams) - $27.23m
It’s no secret that the Rams are all in on this season, and Stafford will do everything he can to make it happen. He led the NFL in passing touchdowns last season, and there’s no reason to think he can’t come close to topping the tree again.

OTHERS TO CONSIDER:

Jordan Love (GB) will be encouraged to throw more, with Watson and Kraft established as key targets, Golden expected to take a big step in his second season, and uncertainty surrounding production in the backfield.

Jalen Hurts (PHI) & Justin Herbert (LAC) both have new offensive playcallers and should have solid seasons. Hurts has a mostly new receiver room to build chemistry with, while Herbert’s receivers have plenty of upside but haven’t blown the roof off the joint yet.

Jaxson Dart (NYG) is almost the perfect quarterback to be coached by John Harbaugh, but the fact of the matter is the Giants still have a lot of development in them. Dart’s a dual-threat quarterback, and his fantasy production is already more than solid, having finished as the QB6 in SuperCoach last season.

RUNNING BACKS

THE CENTREPIECE - Bijan Robinson (Atlanta Falcons) - $25m
Robinson is used in all phases of the Falcons' offence, as evidenced by almost 1,500 rushing yards and 103 targets last season. He finished as the RB3, and it would be a shock if he wasn't there again or even higher this season.

THE LIONS’ PRIDE - Jahmyr Gibbs (Detroit Lions) - $24.77m
No more sharing snaps with David Montgomery, it’s Gibbs’ backfield now, and he’s got to own it. He’s also a genuine threat in the passing game, with multiple touchdowns in five of 17 games while recording at least 85 scrimmage yards in 11 last season.

NEW SURROUNDINGS - Kenneth Walker (Kansas City Chiefs) - $13.08m
The reigning Super Bowl MVP finds a new home in Kansas City, landing somewhere he won’t have to share carries or give up red-zone opportunities. Walker ranked top three in both explosive run rate and missed tackle rate last season, and he’s ultra-efficient on a per-touch basis. He’ll be used a lot by the Chiefs.

BOUNCEBACK - Saquon Barkley (Philadelphia Eagles) - $17m
Was his MVP season really that good, or maybe the Madden cover curse is real? Either way, Barkley had a down year last season after going bonkers the year before. It’s hard to say if it was simply regression to the mean, but he finished as the 14th-ranked back. A bounceback is on the cards, but I’m not expecting the highs of a few years ago.

RISKY BUSINESS - Christian McCaffrey (San Francisco 49ers) - $27.54m
The top running back last season feels like a risky pick this season. His rushing efficiency is on the decline, and the 49ers don’t seem interested in decreasing his workload. If he stays healthy, he could be amazing. At that price though, I think I can spend the money better elsewhere.

TALENTED - Chase Brown (Cincinnati Bengals) - $18.58m
In his first season as the Bengals' bell cow, his production took a little while to get going, but after the Week 10 bye he averaged 36.5 points and 104 scrimmage yards per game. If he can produce those sorts of numbers across an entire season, he'd finish as the fifth-ranked SuperCoach running back based on last season's numbers.

EMERGING STUD - Omarion Hampton (Los Angeles Chargers) - $16.86m
A rookie season hampered by an ankle injury derailed what could’ve been a debut season for the ages. We only saw the real Omarion Hampton in the first four weeks of last season, when he averaged 95 scrimmage yards per game and scored 43 and 49 in Weeks 3 and 4 in SuperCoach. Mike McDaniel is the new offensive coordinator at the Chargers, and his Dolphins offences ranked top 10 in target share to running backs three years in a row.

THE PLAN - De’Von Achane (Miami Dolphins) - $23.13m
Hard to imagine the Dolphins’ offence not involving a heavy dose of Achane. He shapes as the get-out-of-jail card for new coach Jeff Hafley and new quarterback Malik Willis.

OTHERS TO CONSIDER:

James Cook (BUF) should continue to see a heavy workload in Buffalo, although Josh Allen’s presence around the goal line can eat into his touchdown opportunities.

If Bhayshul Tuten (JAX) gets the same opportunity Etienne had in Jacksonville last season, he’ll outperform his starting price well and truly.

WIDE RECEIVERS

THE WR1 - Ja’Marr Chase (Cincinnati Bengals) - $20.31m
Chase still managed to finish as the fourth-ranked receiver in NFL SuperCoach across 16 games last season, despite Joe Burrow playing just eight. With his preferred ball delivery source hopefully available for a full season, there’s every chance Chase outperforms his starting price.

THE RASCAL - Puka Nacua (Los Angeles Rams) - $25.09m
He isn’t suspended. He isn’t injured. He’s a grade A rascal, but he’s also a bloody good wide receiver. If he can keep his crazy ways in check, he’ll continue to be Matthew Stafford’s top target.

THE WEAPON - Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Seattle Seahawks) - $22.73m
Jaxon Smith-Njigba should still comfortably lead the Seahawks in targets. He has help coming up behind him in the pecking order, but he’s still the main man in Seattle.

MR RELIABLE - Amon-Ra St. Brown (Detroit Lions) - $21.42m
Name a more predictable scenario than Jared Goff finding Amon-Ra through the air. He’s one of the safest SuperCoach picks because there isn’t another Lions receiver with a realistic chance of matching his target share.

ALWAYS OPEN - AJ Brown (New England Patriots) - $15.56m
We spoke earlier about Drake Maye’s accuracy and air yards; well, this guy is going to be on the other end of it. AJ Brown gives Maye an uber-premium receiver to target and has major upside with a high passing-volume floor in New England.

THE NEXT BIG THING - Chris Olave (New Orleans Saints) - $17.62m
Tyler Shough and Chris Olave are going to feed fantasy teams for a while, and we saw their connection grow as last season progressed. From Week 9, when Shough took over starting duties, Olave averaged 31.1 SuperCoach points per game, which over a full season would’ve put him level with Ja’Marr Chase’s average last season.

THE SIDEKICK - DeVonta Smith (Philadelphia Eagles) - $12.23m
Robin has become Batman at the Eagles. The former Heisman Trophy winner spent years playing second fiddle to AJ Brown, but now has the WR1 duties all to himself.

BETTER DAYS AHEAD - Ladd McConkey (Los Angeles Chargers) - $11.81m
After bursting out of the blocks as a rookie, 2025 was a disaster. This season, you’ve got Mike McDaniel calling plays, a healthy O-line, and a receiver who’ll demand the ball into his hands.

THE NEW BUCK - Jaylen Waddle (Denver Broncos) - $13m
Waddle moves from an offence that ranked 29th in passing attempts last season to one that ranked fourth. It’s Jaylen Waddle season in Denver.

PROTOTYPE - Christian Watson (Green Bay Packers) - $14.71m
Watson is the prototype wide receiver for Matt LaFleur’s offence, and the Packers looked noticeably different once he returned from injury last season. He’s poised to break out, with Jordan Love likely to have a go at calling some plays from under centre, and enters the season as Green Bay’s clear WR1.

TRUE VALUE - Justin Jefferson (Minnesota Vikings) - $11.96m
Jefferson should return to the top of the receiver tree this season, with a new and capable quarterback in Minnesota once again. He’s proven he can be one of the most dominant receivers in the league, and with some stability under centre, there’s every reason to expect him to be right back among the best in SuperCoach.

THE SHERIFF - CeeDee Lamb (Dallas Cowboys) - $16.25m
Lamb is a key part of the Dallas offence through the air and remains their clear number one receiving option. He’s fit again and should return to his full complement of snaps this season, giving him every opportunity to re-establish himself as one of the most heavily targeted receivers in the league.

OTHERS TO CONSIDER:

Malik Nabers (NYG) is an elite receiver and has claims to being as much of a bargain as Jefferson, but there’s conjecture about his fitness.

Rashee Rice (KC) straightened up Kansas City when he returned for the second half of last season, and his production was elite.

Drake London (ATL) was the WR6 through the first 10 weeks of last season before a PCL injury slowed him down, and remains the clear WR1 in Atlanta despite some uncertainty at quarterback.

TIGHT ENDS

TOP SHELF - Trey McBride (Arizona Cardinals) - $19.2m
I’m putting McBride in the “too expensive” basket at this price, but I certainly won’t talk anyone out of picking him. McBride gets fed well in a pass-happy Arizona offence.

THE BIG CHEESE - Tucker Kraft (Green Bay Packers) - $16.19m
Kraft was on the end of six TDs in eight games before an ACL injury struck him down last season. He’s one of Jordan Love’s most trusted targets and, by all reports, will be full go from Week 1.

THE WHOLE SHEBANG - Brock Bowers (Las Vegas Raiders) - $15.48m
Bowers is the Raiders’ offence. Without him, they’ll struggle to move the ball through the air. He’s going to be the key to making life easier for whoever is playing quarterback this season.

THE MISMATCH - Kyle Pitts Sr (Atlanta Falcons) - $12.54m
Pitts is more receiver than tight end at times and usually finishes among the Falcons’ leaders in targets. He saw more than 100 targets last season, giving him a strong fantasy floor at a position that can be difficult to trust.

THE FAVOURITE - Colston Loveland (Chicago Bears) - $11.6m
Loveland grew into one of the league’s most productive tight ends towards the end of last season, becoming one of Caleb Williams’ favoured targets in the process. Their connection really started to flourish over the final four games, and there’s every reason to think that will carry into this season.

THE VETERAN PRESENCE - Mark Andrews (Baltimore Ravens) - $7.81m
Andrews’ price has fallen for reasons largely outside his control, creating plenty of value if he can get back to his usual role. There’s a clear opportunity for him to re-establish himself as one of Baltimore’s key targets and become a reliable fantasy option again.

FIELD STRETCHER - Isaiah Likely (New York Giants) - $5.59m
Likely has a great opportunity to establish himself as one of the Giants’ key targets behind Malik Nabers. New head coach John Harbaugh already knows what he can bring to an offence from their time together in Baltimore, and that familiarity should give Likely every chance to carve out a significant role in New York.

OTHERS TO CONSIDER:

Dalton Schultz (HOU) and Hunter Henry (NE) are regular targets for their team, but the production doesn’t sustain itself even if they can go big on occasion.

Brenton Strange (JAX) became increasingly involved in Jacksonville’s passing game late last season, with more than half of his targets coming after Week 11. That growing role gives him plenty of upside heading into this season.

All five of these units have the personnel to cause plenty of problems this season, with the ability to pressure the quarterback, create turnovers and restrict scoring. The Texans and Rams stand out as the top choices of the group, but there’s plenty to like about all five.

VALUE PLAYS:
Green Bay Packers ($6.08m), Cincinnati Bengals ($5.08m), Dallas Cowboys ($4.3m)

All three offer enough upside to outperform their starting price without forcing you to spend heavily at the position. Dallas in particular stands out, having been a top fantasy defence in the past and adding enough talent over the offseason to make a return to form a realistic possibility.

QUARTERBACKS

JARED GOFF (Detroit Lions) 23.16m
Goff thrives indoors, averaging 280 passing yards and more than two passing touchdowns per game when protected from the elements. Better still, the Lions will play 12 regular-season games under a roof this year, giving Goff every opportunity to make the most of those conditions.

JORDAN LOVE (Green Bay Packers) 20.45m
Consistently underrated by outsiders, Jordan Love’s offensive ability should never be questioned. He was PFF’s fourth-highest graded quarterback last season, finished third in ESPN’s QBR and ranked second in EPA per play. Green Bay is simplifying its playbook this season, which should only enhance his fantasy credentials, while uncertainty around the Packers’ backfield could also force Love to lean more heavily on the passing game.

RUNNING BACKS

BUCKY IRVING (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) 15.76m
An injury-ruined campaign last season saw the Buccaneers turn to a committee-style backfield, and it produced mixed results. Even so, Irving still recorded 80 or more scrimmage yards in six of 10 games, proving he is the most efficient back in Tampa Bay. Coach Todd Bowles won’t commit publicly, but the numbers speak for themselves about who the real bell cow is.

Injuries have plagued him over the past two seasons, but in 2023, even playing behind Mike Evans, he still topped 1,000 receiving yards while attracting 130 targets. If he can stay healthy, he's more than capable of outperforming his price.

DRAKE LONDON (Atlanta Falcons) 17.98m
London was the WR6 over the first 10 weeks of last season before being hampered by a PCL injury. There's some uncertainty around Atlanta's quarterback situation, but London remains the clear WR1 and, surprisingly, currently features in just 5% of teams.

TIGHT ENDS

SAM LAPORTA (Detroit Lions) 12.35m
Despite missing eight games last season, LaPorta produced the best per-game numbers of his career. He averaged more targets and receiving yards per game, with the only thing missing being touchdowns, finishing with just three after scoring seven and 10 in his previous two seasons. Now that David Montgomery is no longer in Detroit, the Lions will need to find new ways to score in the red zone, which could work in LaPorta's favour.

HUNTER HENRY (New England Patriots) 11.19m
One monster score early last season was hard to erase from people's memories, yet we're still hardly talking about Hunter Henry this pre-season. New England completely revamped its receiving corps this off-season, but one thing remained unchanged: Hunter Henry is still the Patriots TE1. He finished with seven touchdowns last season, and his production has improved year on year since Drake Maye took over at quarterback.

Here are some of the best value picks under 9m across the platform:

QUARTERBACKS

FERNANDO MENDOZA (LV) 5m
First overall pick who lands with the Raiders. He’ll start the season behind Kirk Cousins, but it’s highly likely that Mendoza will eventually earn the starting job.

CARSON BECK (ARI) 4.15m
The Cardinals' QB situation is worth monitoring, with Beck impressing throughout training camp. Jacoby Brissett remains the likely starter for now, but Beck is coming for the job.

DESHAUN WATSON (CLE) 8.63m
The Browns have declared Watson their starting quarterback to open the season, and with the Todd Monken regime now beginning alongside a talented group of receivers, the value is plain to see.

JACK STRAND (ATL) 3.9m
He’s turning heads and has looked impressive throughout the preseason, but Tua and Penix have the QB1 and QB2 spots sewn up, even if the starting job itself remains undecided. One worth keeping on the radar though.

RUNNING BACKS

JEREMIYAH LOVE (ATL) 4.95m
The first running back selected in the draft, Love combines explosiveness out of the backfield with the ability to line up in the slot as a reliable receiver. It's easy to see him producing elite numbers if his role is as expected. Genuine on-field option.

JONATHAN BROOKS (CAR) 4m
Injuries have stalled the start of Brooks' NFL career, but the expectation is that he'll eventually become the lead back. With Hubbard, his main competition, currently sidelined, that opportunity could arrive as early as Week 1.

MARSHAWN LLOYD (GB) 4m
This pre-season, Lloyd has looked powerful and quick as he looks to finally get his pro career going after injuries wiped out his first two seasons. With Josh Jacobs placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt List, a starting role has suddenly opened up. You still hold your breath whenever Lloyd gets the ball given his injury history, but he’s made enough of an impression to reportedly earn the nickname “Yeet Cannon.”

KEATON MITCHELL (LAC) 5.65m
Mike McDaniel reportedly made Mitchell an immediate priority after taking over as offensive coordinator, suggesting he already has a role in mind for him. Omarion Hampton remains the clear bell cow, but Mitchell showed enough big-play ability in Baltimore to make him an intriguing option.

BHAYSHUL TUTEN 6.93m
Tuten has all the tools to emerge as a genuine bell cow in Jacksonville. His combination of speed, explosiveness and ability out of the backfield gives him plenty of fantasy upside, with an opportunity to establish himself as the Jaguars' long-term lead back.

JADARIAN PRICE (SEA) 4.55m
Price is a late addition to this article after conflicting reports emerged about his expected role. Early projections suggested he'd spend his rookie season developing, but first-team reps at training camp tell a different story. With Kenneth Walker now at the Chiefs and Zach Charbonnet recovering from an ACL injury, the door is open for Price to make an immediate impact.

WIDE RECEIVERS

MAKAI LEMON (PHI) 4.7m & DONTAYVION WICKS (PHI) 5.84m
One of these two is expected to emerge as Philadelphia's No. 2 receiver opposite DeVonta Smith following the departure of AJ Brown. The draft investment in Lemon gives him the edge, but both offer intriguing upside.

KC CONCEPCION (CLE) 4.65m
Cleveland invested heavily in its receiving corps during the draft, but Concepcion appears set to emerge as the No. 2 receiver next to Jerry Jeudy and could finish as the team's third or fourth option in the passing game.

CARNELL TATE (TEN) 4.9m
Tate is expected to become one of Cam Ward's primary targets, and with Brian Daboll calling the plays, the upside is significant.

CALEB DOUGLAS (MIA) 4m
Miami's lack of proven depth at wide receiver should allow Douglas to earn meaningful playing time early in the season.

JOSH DOWNS (IND) 8.42m
With Michael Pittman Jr. no longer in Indianapolis, Downs is well placed to take on a larger share of the passing game. A noticeable jump in targets should follow.

JORDYN TYSON (NO) 4.85m
If Olave and tight end Johnson are No. 1 and No. 2, Tyson should emerge as the third option. He's a freak athlete, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him surpass one of them as the season progresses.
Tyson has injured his hamstring, and will start the year on the PUP/IR list. Keep him in mind as a potential downgrade target later.

DE’ZHAUN STRIBLING (SF) 4.5m
The 49ers’ receiving corps runs deep, but Stribling could still earn a decent target share, particularly early in the season with several players still working their way back from injury.

LUTHER BURDEN (CHI) 8.94m
There’s hype around Burden, and for good reason. DJ Moore’s departure opens the door for Burden to command a much larger target share in Chicago this season.

MATTHEW GOLDEN (GB) 5.67m
The Packers drafted a wide receiver in the first round for the first time in almost 20 years when they selected Golden, and have since thinned out what was a crowded receiving corps. Golden has a genuine opportunity to establish himself as a key component of Green Bay's passing game.

TIGHT ENDS

GUNNAR HELM (TEN) 5.4m
It took the rookie tight end a little while to settle into the Titans' offensive system, but he looks set to make a sizeable jump in production in his second season.

GREG DULCICH (MIA) 6.98m
Not the strongest option, but will start the year as one of Malik Willis’ top targets.

TJ HOCKENSEN (MIN) 7.28m
At one point, Hockensen was one of the highest ranked tight ends in NFL Fantasy. Injuries and age have slowed him down, but he continues to put up decent numbers.

MARK ANDREWS (BAL) 7.81m
There are a myriad of reasons why Mark Andrews is available at this value, and none of them are his fault. There's a clear path for him to get back to his best this season and once again command a healthy share of targets.

CHIG OKONKWO (WAS) 7.6m
Okonkwo has a genuine opportunity to establish himself as one of Jayden Daniels' favourite targets this season. Washington heavily targeted its top tight end last year, and while the arrival of Stefon Diggs adds competition, there's still a clear path for Okonkwo to command a healthy share of the passing game.

MIKE GESICKI (CIN) 5.94m
Gesicki is priced cheaply for a reason, but he remains one of Joe Burrow’s favourite red-zone targets. There’s touchdown upside in this pick.

KICKERS

TREY SMACK (GB) 4m
Selected in the sixth round, Smack quickly earned Green Bay's confidence after the Packers released veteran Brandon McManus, effectively clearing the path for him to take over the kicking duties.

Post-roster cutdowns, Drew Stevens ($3.9m) and Dominic Zvada ($3.9m) have emerged as the new starting kickers in Washington and New York, respectively.

D/ST

CINCINNATI BENGALS 5.08m
For a team that has long been criticised for its defensive play, the Bengals have made some significant additions this off-season. Dexter Lawrence arrives from the New York Giants, while Boye Mafe and Jonathan Allen joined as free agents, before drafting fiery edge prospect Cashius Howell. Arguably no team in the NFL did more to strengthen its defensive line, and it desperately needed to.

DALLAS COWBOYS 4.3m
This is a team that, not too long ago, was one of the best fantasy defences you could own. With a highly sought-after new defensive coordinator at the helm, you could make a strong case for a return to form this season, especially with additions like Von Miller and Quinnen Williams complementing an already deep secondary.

COMMITTEES

Both are capable of leading an NFL backfield, making it a difficult decision for head coach Liam Coen. One is expected to eventually separate from the pack and emerge as the bell cow, with Tuten the more likely candidate, but for now expect the workload to be shared.

RHAMONDRE STEVENSON / TREVEYON HENDERSON (New England Patriots)
Henderson is the more dynamic playmaker and a genuine weapon in the passing game, while Stevenson does his best work as a downhill runner. Henderson proved last season he doesn't need many touches to make an impact, but at this stage, expect both backs to continue splitting the workload.

JONATHON BROOKS / CHUBA HUBBARD (Carolina Panthers)
The Panthers still have high hopes for Brooks, but injuries have stalled the start of his NFL career. The expectation is that he'll eventually become the lead back, and with Hubbard currently injured, that opportunity could arrive as early as Week 1.

D’ANDRE SWIFT / KYLE MONANGAI (Chicago Bears)
This is a very similar situation to the Patriots. Monangai has all the tools to become a star, but D'Andre Swift remains the established workhorse. Both are capable of producing big fantasy scores, though it's unlikely they'll do it in the same week while they're sharing the backfield.

RJ HARVEY / JK DOBBINS (Denver Broncos)
The Broncos haven't traditionally relied on a true bell cow under Sean Payton, although Davis Webb taking over as offensive coordinator adds a new wrinkle this season. RJ Harvey took all the first-team snaps during pre-season, giving him the edge over Dobbins for now, but this remains a backfield worth monitoring.

DAVID MONTGOMERY / WOODY MARKS (Houston Texans)
Initially, I would’ve had David Montgomery as the bell cow, but Houston still clearly like Woody Marks and his ability to get downfield. We could instead see a familiar split for Montgomery, handling more of the physical and short-yardage work while Marks gets opportunities in space.

AARON JONES / JORDAN MASON / DEMOND CLAIBORNE (Minnesota Vikings)
Jones is getting older, Mason wants a bigger slice of the pie, and Claiborne has been drafted to shake things up. Add a quarterback who'll steal his fair share of rushing attempts, and the Vikings' backfield is a minefield I'll be avoiding.

JAYLEN WARREN / RICO DOWDLE (Pittsburgh Steelers)
On any given week, either Warren or Dowdle could lead the backfield. Warren offers speed and receiving ability, while Dowdle brings a more physical downhill running style. I'm just not convinced Mike McCarthy's approach to the running game will make either a particularly reliable fantasy option.

JACORY CROSKEY-MERRITT / RACHAAD WHITE (Washington Commanders)
Croskey-Merritt offers explosiveness in space, whereas White provides a more physical running style. Their usage is likely to vary from week to week depending on how the game unfolds.

MARSHAWN LLOYD / CHRIS BROOKS / KALEB JOHNSON (Green Bay Packers)
With Josh Jacobs on the Commissioner’s Exempt List, the Packers’ backfield looks destined to run by committee. Lloyd is your gap finder, Brooks your blocker and Johnson can work between the tackles. Throw in new tight end Jonnu Smith’s ability to play H-back, and there’s enough competition to be cautious. MarShawn Lloyd still has genuine cash cow upside, though.

JADARIAN PRICE / GEORGE HOLANI (Seattle Seahawks)
As expected, Charbonnet starts the season on the PUP list, leaving rookie Jadarian Price to lead the Seahawks' backfield with third-year back George Holani behind him. Price has genuine cash cow upside and impressed throughout the preseason, but if Charbonnet returns at the earliest opportunity in Week 4, his cash generation could quickly stall.

If you want the best chance of a successful NFL SuperCoach or Fantasy team this season, start with the players most likely to lead their team in targets.

Here are my top target picks for every team, listed in order. Some teams have just one standout option, while others have as many as three:

Arizona Cardinals

Marvin Harrison Jr (WR)

The Cardinals have a new coach, so their offence is a little harder to project right now. However, if trends continue, Trey McBride should remain a focal point of this passing attack, with Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson providing plenty of support. Any of the three could explode on a given week, but McBride should command a healthy share of targets on a week-to-week basis.

Atlanta Falcons

Bijan Robinson (RB)
Kyle Pitts Sr. (TE)

All three of Pitts, London and Robinson finished last season with more than 100 targets, with daylight between them and the Falcons' next most-targeted options. There's little reason to expect that to change, although Drake London looks poised to flourish under new head coach Kevin Stefanski. Even if Bijan Robinson's target share dips slightly, he'll remain one of the focal points of Atlanta's offence.

Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore's passing game has traditionally taken a back seat to its powerful rushing attack. However, with a new head coach and a highly regarded offensive coordinator in charge, Lamar Jackson could be encouraged to take yardage through the air. That would create more opportunities for Zay Flowers to take the next step, while also helping Mark Andrews return to the high target share we've seen in the past.

Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen has always favoured players who can do damage after the catch. DJ Moore and Dalton Kincaid both fit that profile, making them two of Buffalo's safest bets for targets.

Carolina Panthers

Tetairoa McMillan (WR)

The Panthers are still a difficult team to project with so many young players and unknowns, but Tetairoa McMillan showed enough during his rookie season to suggest he'll remain one of Bryce Young's most trusted targets.

Chicago Bears

Colston Loveland (TE)
Rome Odunze (WR)
Luther Burden (WR)

Rome Odunze will be the popular pick following DJ Moore's departure to Buffalo, but Colston Loveland's strong finish to last season has him narrowly ahead in my rankings. Everything coming out of Chicago suggests they want to make him a bigger part of the offence. Luther Burden should also command a healthy share of targets, making him a dangerous option in his own right.

Cincinnati Bengals

Ja’Marr Chase (WR)
Tee Higgins (WR)

Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins remain the engines of Cincinnati's passing attack, and there's no reason to expect that to change this season.

Cleveland Browns

Jerry Jeudy (WR)
Harold Fannin Jr. (TE)

Jerry Jeudy and Harold Fannin Jr. should lead the Browns in targets, but beyond those two, the picture isn't particularly clear. Keep an eye on rookies Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion though, with both capable of forcing their way up the target pecking order as the season progresses. Until we see how Todd Monken wants to shape this offence, there's still plenty of uncertainty around Cleveland's target hierarchy.

Dallas Cowboys

"Prescott to Lamb" is a phrase we'll hear plenty this season. George Pickens and Jake Ferguson should also command a healthy share of targets, but CeeDee Lamb remains the number one option in Dallas.

The Broncos didn't trade for Jaylen Waddle just to use him as a complementary piece. While Sutton remains a reliable option, I'd back the younger Waddle to emerge as Denver's leading target.

Detroit Lions

Amon-Ra St Brown (WR)

Jahmyr Gibbs (RB)

Amon-Ra St. Brown is one of the safest target picks in the league. There isn't another Lions receiver with a realistic chance of matching his target share. Jameson Williams will continue to rack up big yardage thanks to his ability to stretch the field, while Jahmyr Gibbs should continue to see plenty of opportunities out of the backfield.

Green Bay Packers

Christian Watson (WR)
Tucker Kraft (TE)

Christian Watson is the prototype wide receiver for Matt LaFleur’s offence, and the Packers looked noticeably different once he returned from injury last season. Tucker Kraft also proved he could be a genuine weapon, catching six touchdowns in eight games while becoming one of Jordan Love’s most trusted targets. Behind those two, Jayden Reed, Matthew Golden and new signing Jonnu Smith will battle for the third-largest share of targets.

Houston Texans

There’s plenty more to like about Houston’s receiving group heading into the season. Nico Collins remains the standout option, with his ability to stretch the field and capitalise on the quarterback’s deep ball making him the favourite to lead Houston in targets. Newly acquired Kayshon Boutte gives them another explosive option, which could lessen the reliance on Collins, while veteran tight end Dalton Schultz saw more than 100 targets last season and can’t go without a mention.

Indianapolis Colts

With Michael Pittman Jr. no longer in Indianapolis, there's plenty of opportunity up for grabs. Alec Pierce looks well placed to lead the team in targets after earning a contract extension during the offseason, while Josh Downs remains the WR2. The arrival of veteran Keenan Allen clouds the target share between the two, while second-year tight end Tyler Warren should also command a healthy share.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Brenton Strange (TE)

Parker Washington finished as Trevor Lawrence's most-targeted receiver last season, drawing 95 targets across 16 games. Brian Thomas Jr. wasn't far behind with 91 targets in just 14 games, however, giving him the edge on a per-game basis. Meanwhile, Brenton Strange emerged as a bigger part of the passing attack late in the year, with more than half of his targets coming after Week 11.

Kansas City Chiefs

Rashee Rice (WR)
Travis Kelce (TE)

Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce remain the focal points of Kansas City's passing attack. At this stage, there isn't anyone on the roster who looks likely to challenge their place at the top of the target pecking order.

Las Vegas Raiders

Brock Bowers (TE)

Brock Bowers is the undisputed number one target in Las Vegas. Everything in the Raiders' passing game should continue to revolve around getting the ball into his hands.

LA Chargers

Ladd McConkey (WR)
Quentin Johnston (WR)

Ladd McConkey won't necessarily dominate the Chargers' target share, but he's the only pass catcher I'd confidently back to see consistent volume and potentially lead the team in targets. Quentin Johnston played a nice supporting role in flashes last season, and all eyes will be on whether he can put it together for longer stretches this year.

LA Rams

Puka Nacua (WR)
Davante Adams (WR)

Puka Nacua remains a focal point of the Rams' passing attack, while Davante Adams brings experience and reliability to the receiving corps. Both should command a healthy share of targets, but I'd expect Nacua to once again lead the team.

Miami Dolphins

Greg Dulcich (TE)

If I'm being honest, there's so much uncertainty around the Dolphins' receiving corps that it's hard to make a call. On the surface, tight end Greg Dulcich looks set to see plenty of the football, while rookie Caleb Douglas is emerging as a genuine top option despite only arriving through the draft in April.

Minnesota Vikings

Justin Jefferson (WR)

Last season was the worst of his professional career since entering the league, but with a new and capable quarterback under centre, he should once again lead the Vikings in targets.

New England Patriots

AJ Brown (WR)
Romeo Doubs (WR)

The Patriots completely revamped their receiver room after a dour Super Bowl loss. They traded for AJ Brown and signed Romeo Doubs as a free agent. Brown will be the clear number one option, while Doubs provides a genuine deep threat with red-zone upside.

New Orleans Saints

Chris Olave (WR)
Juwan Johnson (TE)

This is Tyler Shough's offence now, and as last season progressed it became clear that Chris Olave and Juwan Johnson were his favourite weapons in the passing game. There's no reason to expect that to change this season. Jordyn Tyson may also emerge in his rookie season and is worth mentioning.

New York Giants

Malik Nabers (WR)
Isaiah Likely (TE)

Malik Nabers is on track for Week 1 and should resume his role as the Giants' primary target. Isaiah Likely also shapes as a prominent option, particularly with new head coach John Harbaugh already familiar with what he can bring to an offence. The return of Odell Beckham Jr. adds another wrinkle, with the veteran arriving in impressive shape and showing signs he could still have plenty to offer.

New York Jets

Garrett Wilson (WR)
Mason Taylor (TE)

There isn't much proven receiving talent behind Garrett Wilson, making him the obvious focal point of the Jets passing attack. Quarterback Geno Smith should have no hesitation looking Wilson's way early and often. Mason Taylor is a chance to help take some of the defensive attention away with his ability to find dangerous positions.

Philadelphia Eagles

DeVonta Smith (WR)

The Eagles' decision to trade AJ Brown has paved the way for DeVonta Smith to become Jalen Hurts' undisputed top target. Rookie Makai Lemon and veteran tight end Dallas Goedert should jostle for second and third in the pecking order, providing the main support behind Smith.

Pittsburgh Steelers

DK Metcalf (WR)
Michael Pittman Jr (WR)

Aaron Rodgers returns for what is expected to be his final NFL season and will look to make full use of the weapons at his disposal. DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman Jr. should operate as the 1A and 1B options in Pittsburgh's passing attack, with both expected to command a healthy share of targets.

San Francisco 49ers

Mike Evans (WR)
Christian McCaffrey (RB)
George Kittle (TE)

These three will drive the 49ers offence, and Brock Purdy should have no trouble keeping all of them heavily involved. Mike Evans will be chasing another 1,000-yard receiving season, George Kittle remains one of the league's premier playmakers, and Christian McCaffrey will continue to command plenty of targets out of the backfield. It's a Kyle Shanahan offence that should keep all three productive. Deebo Samuel, although not listed here, looms as the wildcard after rejoining the team in recent weeks.

Seattle Seahawks

Jaxon Smith-Njigba (WR)

The reigning Super Bowl champions couldn't keep everyone together during the offseason, but Jaxon Smith-Njigba should still comfortably lead the Seahawks in targets. After a strong finish to last season, Rashid Shaheed looks well placed to emerge as the No. 2 option.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It’s expected that Godwin will still play an important role in Tampa Bay’s passing game, but I’m giving Emeka Egbuka the edge after an outstanding rookie season, despite battling a few injury interruptions. Both will be good options in SuperCoach, Godwin potentially too hard to ignore at his price.

Tennessee Titans

The Titans remain one of the hardest passing attacks to get a read on. Elic Ayomanor led the team with just 89 targets last season, with nobody reaching 100 and daylight to the next best option. Ayomanor, Gunnar Helm and top rookie selection Carnell Tate look the most likely to lead the way, but there's no clear favourite among them yet.

Washington Commanders

Looking at last season's target share, Terry McLaurin should lead the Commanders in targets. Chig Okonkwo has every chance to establish himself as Jayden Daniels' second favourite option, potentially leaving a sizeable gap between the top two and the rest of Washington's receiving corps, much like we saw last season. New signing Stefon Diggs will challenge Okonkwo for second in targets.

After a down season that ultimately left him on the bench at the Cardinals, Kyler Murray has landed a fresh start at the Minnesota Vikings. Murray was a PFF top-10 ranked quarterback in both the 2020 and 2021 seasons, but has since had to deal with several injuries, including a ruptured ACL that almost wiped out two seasons' worth of football.

JOSH ALLEN (Buffalo Bills) 30.08m
There's a reason Josh Allen is routinely taken several rounds ahead of most other quarterbacks in fantasy drafts. Now with more weapons around him and a new coach at the helm, I'm more than comfortable saying Allen deserves to be one of your very first selections this season. He ranked 10th for passing touchdowns with 25, and third for rushing touchdowns with 14. Only Matthew Stafford accounted for more total touchdowns (passing, rushing or receiving) last season. Allen is a genuine chance to finish as the highest averaging player in NFL SuperCoach this season.

LAMAR JACKSON (Baltimore Ravens) 21.88m
An injury-interrupted 2025 campaign has Jackson available at a discounted starting price. His numbers were well down on the lofty standards he set in 2023 and 2024, when he won the MVP award and finished runner-up respectively, making him one of the biggest value picks at quarterback. We know the ceiling Jackson can reach, and at this price, it's a pretty understandable gamble to back him to return to those heights.

JAXSON DART (New York Giants) 26.32m
He plays like a wrecking ball and will now be coached by former Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, who helped design an offence around Lamar Jackson. Dart and Jackson are similar in that they both like to use their legs as much as their arms, but Dart is far more likely to put himself in harm's way for an extra yard. He's an injury risk, but he's also capable of delivering enormous rewards in every game he’s featured in.

RUNNING BACKS

JAHMYR GIBBS (Detroit Lions) 24.77m
No more sharing snaps with David Montgomery, it's Gibbs' backfield now, and he's got to own it. He's also a genuine threat in the passing game commanding more than 90 targets last season. Gibbs scored multiple touchdowns in five of 17 games last season while recording at least 85 scrimmage yards in 11.

JEREMIYAH LOVE (Arizona Cardinals) 4.95m
The top-drafted running back landed at the Cardinals and, despite a crowded backfield, he’s going to be hard to leave out of fantasy teams, especially at a rookie price. He was a dynamo at college, scoring 35 touchdowns while racking up almost 2,500 scrimmage yards and more than 360 carries for Notre Dame across two seasons. Add 55 receptions for 517 yards and five touchdowns over the same period, and he’s also proven to be a genuine pass-catching threat.

ASHTON JEANTY (Las Vegas Raiders) 16.31m
Under new management. The top-drafted running back last season was a disappointment, but it wasn’t entirely his fault. Poor offensive line protection and questionable play-calling left him with little chance to succeed. Now, with Klint Kubiak, the former Seahawks offensive coordinator, in charge, he’s already said he wants Jeanty to be the centrepiece of the Raiders’ offence this coming season.

DAVID MONTGOMERY (Houston Texans) 11.5m
In the off-season, Montgomery joined the Texans, and it sounds like Houston has big plans for him. Texans running backs coach Danny Barrett has described "Monty" as an every-down back, so all signs point to him handling a heavy workload.

KYREN WILLIAMS (Los Angeles Rams) 18.43m
Don’t lose sight of the player leading the Rams backfield. He finished sixth in the NFL for rushing yards last season, ahead of Jahmyr Gibbs, Christian McCaffrey and Saquon Barkley, all of whom should be popular SuperCoach selections. He also finished 11th for total touchdowns, ahead of Bijan Robinson, Puka Nacua, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Amon-Ra St. Brown. There is no reason why Williams can’t continue to produce solid numbers.

WIDE RECEIVERS

DJ MOORE (Buffalo Bills) 11.44m
Josh Allen has a new WR1. We've seen what DJ Moore's best looks like when he was the No. 1 receiver with the Bears and, before that, the Panthers. With Allen throwing him the football, there's every reason to believe he can return to the level he produced during his best years. Moore's issue has never been talent, it's always been target share.

JUSTIN JEFFERSON (Minnesota Vikings) 11.96m
Let's be honest, the Vikings' quarterback situation last season was a mess, and no player suffered more than Justin Jefferson. Now, with Kyler Murray under centre, you'd expect his output to improve significantly. Last season was the worst of Jefferson's professional career for both receiving yards and touchdowns.

MIKE EVANS (San Francisco 49ers) 12.8m
Last season, injury ended Mike Evans' streak of 11 consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons. Despite what his birth certificate says, he's not slowing down, and now finds himself with a fresh start at the 49ers, where he'll be a cornerstone of Kyle Shanahan's offence.

JA’MARR CHASE (Cincinnati Bengals) 20.31m
In 16 games, he finished as the fourth-ranked wide receiver in NFL SuperCoach last season. Joe Burrow, his preferred ball delivery source, played just eight games. If the pair can stay fit, you could argue Chase is underpriced.

TIGHT ENDS

BROCK BOWERS (Las Vegas Raiders) 15.48m
Bowers combination of size, speed and body control gives him genuine big-play ability. He also commands a high target share, meaning even his quieter games tend to produce solid fantasy scores because the Raiders' offence consistently looks his way.

ISAIAH LIKELY (New York Giants) 5.59m
Likely finally escapes the shadow of Mark Andrews and lands at the New York Giants in almost the perfect situation with former Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, who knows exactly how to use him. There's massive upside here, with Likely capable of becoming a regular red-zone target and a genuine touchdown threat.

CHIG OKONKWO (Washington Commanders) 7.6m
Not your traditional tight end, Chig Okonkwo is more of a slot receiver than a blocker, which suits the modern NFL perfectly. We've seen flashes every year during his time at the Titans, but never sustained production. He starts at a bargain price for a reason, but the upside is enormous if everything clicks.

TUCKER KRAFT (Green Bay Packers) 16.19m
Before going down with an ACL injury, Tucker Kraft had become a reliable weapon for the Packers’ offence, scoring six touchdowns in just eight games. He's a favourite target of Jordan Love and is on track to complete a full training camp in August before picking up where he left off.

KICKERS

BRANDON AUBREY (Dallas Cowboys) 14.43m
Kickers are one of the least popular positions in any fantasy format because they can score anywhere from zero to 24 points on any given day. Aubrey is one of the most accurate kickers from beyond 40 yards, and the Cowboys rewarded him by making him the highest-paid kicker this off-season. His price is a little steep, but he's worth finding the extra cash for.

D/ST

LOS ANGELES RAMS 10.31m
The Rams were already one of the highest-rated defensive and special teams units in the league, but the additions of Myles Garrett at defensive end, Trent McDuffie at cornerback and Jaylen Watson also at cornerback have only made the unit more dangerous. Throw in rumours of Aaron Donald coming out of retirement, and this defence has the potential to be one of the most feared in the NFL.

HOUSTON TEXANS 12.31m
Houston boasts one of the NFL's premier defences and regularly keeps games low-scoring. Led by edge rushers Will Anderson Jr., Danielle Hunter and recent signing Jadeveon Clowney, alongside star cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. and a talented linebacker corps, the Texans should once again field one of the league's toughest defensive units.
